Life is busy -- yet good, but sometimes we just need to take time to breathe deep. To stop running and walk for a bit.
Some people thrive inside busyness, as I do. I do not like to be idle. But even those of us who love to stay busy, need to take time to stop and breathe. Breathing helps us soak up the moment and what's going on around us. It also helps us recharge and refocus.
Ann Voskamp's voice rings in my ears often, " Life is not an emergency."
While we have the freedom to be busy, we also have the freedom to slow down. To soak in the surroundings so they don't blur and time isn't escaping within our tunnel vision. Even busy people can learn to live in the moment instead of looking ahead to the next thing.
Make space to breathe in His Spirit and be restored.
