Oh I am soo excited to get this challenge underway. It is needed in a bad way!
One of my biggest issues with getting a good breakfast on the table and engaging with my children is that usually I wake up after them; groggy and without coffee. Not a good mix (can I get a witness)?
I've mentioned before how bad this can get.
Typically what happens is, the children wake me up with their "I'm hungry's" and I'm not even out of bed yet. Coffee still needs to be made.
Then, once it is made, the kids are gathering around the table, fending for themselves while I sip coffee and "wake up" with the computer. Mornings can be rough for me because it usually takes me a good one to two hours to fully wake up.
Now you see my dilemma and why it is a must for me to get up early.
So, my goal beginning this week is to get up at 5am each morning.
I know I can do it because I've done it in the past, even when I had babies waking me in the middle of the night. I just need to remember to keep it a habit so I don't have to keep retraining myself.
I managed to get up early today.
I am not going to worry about making anything healthy for breakfast just yet. I want to focus on one goal at a time.
Next week, I will add a new goal.
