Mommy Missions - and a Giveaway!

{Giveaway Closed} WINNER IS: Ellyc  - Commenter #6 Congrat's Ellyc, I've already emailed you!

Good Monday friends! It has been a crazy weekend for me and the next few days are going to be rather filled as well. We had an unexpected snow/ice/thunderstorm here last night. Let me tell you it was crazy! We are keeping warm inside today.

Today I want to share with you a wonderful system for us as mom's, yet for our children. If you're anything like me, you don't always have time to come up with ideas or tasks to help your children grow and learn spiritually. I fully admit, I am not the creative type. I am often drawn in to other's creativity and adopt it for my family. There are times I can put a nice twist on an idea or add something to it. But coming up with the whole idea on my own? That would only take the work of God (but it has been known to happen)!

But that's not the important thing. The important thing is that God uses people like Tara of Mommy Missions to be a creative voice for Him, to help moms like me. :)

Mommy Missions is a monthly membership club especially for Christian moms of children age 10 and under.  What makes Mommy Missions unique is that not only do we encourage moms to nurture their own spiritual growth, we also equip them to train their children in the ways and Word of the Lord as we are instructed in Deuteronomy 6:4-9.

What I really love about this program is that there are just enough nuggets in each calendar day to help introduce young children to who God is, basics of the Bible, etc. without being overwhelming. But, if you would like to go into greater depth, there are a plethora of additional resources that come with the daily missions for extended study, for say an older child. I have children ranging in age from 8 down to 5 months, so I have a vast array of material to use on all of them---all in one place!

In addition, I can also use this information as a springboard for creating my own studies, surrounding the ideas given. Not only did I get a calendar, but scripture memory cards, activities,  as well as supplements and resources to help me deepen the study. Many partners have joined with Tara and Mommy Missions to help bring a deeper understanding to each month's topic. They include e-books, audio teachings, plus more.

The first month really challenged me and helped me get my priorities in order as well as do a heart check and pray for areas of change. It's geared specifically at the moms heart and motives. It is great groundwork to help reach our children.

If you are looking for help or creativity to lay some ground work in your children's spiritual lives, Mommy Missions is a great place to start. I highly recommend it and suggest digging into the supplements as well because they offer so much depth, if not for your children, for you.
